Scott was born and raised along the Jersey Shore where he fell in love with long distance running.  This led him to the University of Tennessee where he was a 4 year Letterman in Cross Country and Track & Field.  Before turning his attention to triathlon he posted personal best times of 29:12 for 10km, 1:05:40 for the half marathon, and a 2:24 marathon.  In 2009 Scott was put in touch with legendary triathlon coach Brett Sutton.  He was invited to train with Brett and his former squad team TBB.  Scott spent 5 years under the watchful eye of Coach Sutton.  In 3 years time, Brett took Scott from a development athlete with just 1 skill, running, to a podium placing iron distance athlete.  Brett gave him the nickname 'The Animal' for his strong work ethic and ability to chew through sessions day after day.   2012 was Scott's best year thus far, which saw him climb the podium in several events around the world, including Ironman Florida where he set a Personal Best Time of 8:09 for the distance.

Scott continues to chase his dream of becoming an Ironman Champion but when his racing days come to an end he hopes to have a squad of Professionals that he can help as they chase their dreams in triathlon.  In the meantime he has already begun to make his mark in the coaching world after his former coach Brett began mentoring him, not only as an athlete, but also as a coach.  In 2011 Scott began coaching age group athletes under the team TBB umbrella. Since then he has helped guide numerous athletes in qualifying for both the 70.3 World Championships as well as the Hawaii Ironman World Championships.  He credits Brett and his methods for much of his success both as an athlete and coach!

Scott currently has a healthy squad of Age Group athletes he trains remotely from his base in San Diego, as well as 4 Professional Triathletes.

Carrie grew up in Brisbane, Australia, where being involved in sport at a young age is only natural. Carrie played various sports throughout her school years, but running track was where she excelled. With natural strength and power, 100m and 200m were her events and over her career ran personal best times of 11.71 for 100m and 23.90 for 200m. At the age of 19 Carrie turned her focus to study and quit running track. She gained her Bachelors degree in Marketing and Business management at Queensland University of Technology, and during this time discovered triathlon.

At the time triathlon was Carrie’s way to keep fit while studying and working part-time, and she continued training and racing as an age group athlete well into her 20s when she was working full time as a Market Research Analyst for RACQ Insurance.

As Carrie began to train more, changed jobs, and moved to the Sunshine Coast, she was encouraged by training partners and her coach at the time to move up to the longer distance and in doing that raced her first Ironman in 2010 at Port Macquarie – which she won, and qualified for her first Kona as a professional.  It wasn’t until 2012 when Carrie gave up her full-time job she was able to turn her focus to train and race triathlon full-time.

Since that time, Carrie has won 8 long distance titles, multiple podium finishes over both the full and half distance ironman, 3 sub-9 performances, 2  2nd place finishes at Challenge Roth, and 2 x top 10 finishes at the Ironman World Championships (Kona).

Through Carrie’s triathlon career she has been coached by some of the most successful coaches in the history of the sport and has also trained with and competed against the best athletes in triathlon.

Apart from triathlon, Carrie has a genuine interest in living a healthy life and being active and prides herself in encouraging and helping others to do the same.

She enjoys working with and developing athletes of all levels and introducing them to the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle. To her there is no excuse why someone can’t be active, and she will do everything in her power to help someone feel the best they can and live a great life.
