Brittany Vocke
Triathlon Coach
Britt grew up in Northern Virginia where she was first introduced to the sport of swimming. Her swimming really took off in high school and with that success she was able to land a spot on the George Mason University Division I Swim Team. While maintaining a reputable swimming career in college, Britt earned a BS in Exercise Science and expanded her coaching career to a more technical and professional level. Upon graduating, Britt furthered her coaching career at a local club team (Machine Aquatics) where she was able to refine her coaching skills and expand her knowledge on stroke technique and correction. During her club swim coaching career she has coached 100 + National and Junior Olympic swimmers, 5 of which ranked top 10 in their age group in the country.
While coaching swimming, she was introduced to the sport of triathlon and quickly took to the sport. She participated in mainly Olympic Distance races, but threw in a smaller Full Iron Distance for the challenge. She placed 2nd female overall and decided it was time to find a coach. That is where she linked up with Coach Scott. Britt has been training under Scott since spring of 2014 and has since moved out to Southern California. While working under Scott she has won multiple Olympic Distance races, 70.3, and Full IRONMAN's. In 2020, Britt’s performance as a racer really took off and proved she could race at the professional level. After one more 70.3 race in 2021 she stepped up to the pro ranks and competed in Ironman Cozumel in the professional field.
With Britt's growing passion for the sport, she has decided to share her swimming expertise with the tri community and coaching in the sport she's grown to love. She's been coaching Age Group Athletes under the guidance of Scott since 2019 and looks forward to continuing to help athletes achieve their goals.
