Luis Villavicencio is the former head coach of the Guatemalan National Team. He is an international coach and a passionate trainer of a growing group of elite and age group triathletes and runners. Luis was the first Guatemalan to finish an Ironman in under 9 hours 55, and held the national record for several years. ​

 

As a coach, Luis' goal is to build Central America’s largest program within the sport of triathlon and take unknown athletes to the very top of the sport. Luis is a former Trisutto Coach and worked with Brett Sutton for 2 years and has 25 years of coaching experience in total. He is dedicated to coaching best practices and helping athletes of all abilities fulfill their potential. Luis uses his three decades of on-deck experience to provide high performance training and coaching for each aspiring athlete. Luis organizes triathlon training camps throughout the Americas.
